About the Event:
The Beedles Braving Batten 5K Walk is a family-friendly event held in recognition of International Batten Awareness Day. Join us in person or virtually to raise awareness and support families affected by Batten disease.
The event includes a 5K walk followed by a fun ice cream celebration. This year is especially meaningful as it marks the final 5K hosted by the Beedle family.
All proceeds from this 5K event will be directed through the Our Promise to Nicholas Foundation to support family programs at the BDSRA Family Conference in Chicago from July 9 to 12, 2026, and to advance research through the NCL Translational Science and Therapeutics Conference in Boston from November 11 to 13, 2026.
